In order to help you better appreciate the operas in our 2011 International Season, the Education and Outreach Department has developed a series of introductory podcasts hosted by Nicolas Reveles. These 15 to 20 minute ‘conversations’ can be enjoyed by opera fans as well as those who are new to the art form. Informal yet informative, this is a great way to prepare to come see the operas during our season.

San Diego Opera’s Season To Be Broadcast On XLNC1 Radio
Listen to live recordings of San Diego Opera’s 2011 International Season on XLNC1, 104.9FM beginning in early 2011. Hear your favorite singers and relive the excitement of being in the theatre and experiencing some of the greatest music ever written! Join your host, San Diego Opera’s Geisel Director of Education & Outreach Nicolas Reveles, who will share interesting historical and musical facts along with a synopsis of the operas prior to each act.
