Prepare for the opera season by listening at home! Here is a list of excellent recordings of San Diego Opera’s 2010 International Season to help you get to know the operas before we produce them. (This is by no means an exhaustive list; be sure to check your CD store for other recordings of these same operas, especially on budget labels such as Naxos and Opera d’Oro. Be aware, however, that some budget recordings do not include libretti.) All of these recordings are available for order through the internet at sites such as www.amazon.com and www.iclassics.com. Also, be sure to check your local Borders or Barnes & Noble bookstores which have good collections of CDs in stock.
