Who Will Attend
This very popular event is exclusively for patrons who donate $300 or more to San Diego Opera each year. Joining them will be the Stars of Nabucco and Romeo and Juliet along with the Conductors and Directors of both operas.
Why It’s Fun
A cast member or two join each table, so you’ll have a great opportunity to schmooze with your favorite stars. (Tip - bring a camera!) Or wander from table to table to meet and mingle with other cast members and your fellow San Diego Members. To add to the fun, Holland America has donated a cruise for an Opportunity Drawing – see details below!
Cost
$125 per person for an elegant dinner, complimentary wine and sparkling conversation with your favorite stars! Reminder: Reservations may be made only by San Diego Opera contributors at the Enthusiast ($300) level and above.
What To Wear
A suit, or nice sport coat, for the men, and dresses or “elegant casual” for women.
Where To Park
If you’ve parked at the theatre, we recommend walking across the street to the US Grant. Valet parking is also available for a fee at the US Grant. Enter off 4th Avenue just past C Street. For a map and more information, visit our Directions and Parking.

Holland America Line has very generously donated a cruise for two to help raise funds to support San Diego Opera’s Operation:Opera education programs. Purchase your “Opportunity Tickets” for the drawing, before or at the Meet The Stars Dinner, and your extra donation will not only help send music education programs out to schoolchildren in San Diego, but it may also send you to sail the seas! The winner will receive a certificate good for any 7-day Holland America Line cruise for two in Alaska, the Caribbean, Mexico or Canada/New England. The drawing will be held at the Meet The Stars Dinner, but the Winner need not be present.
The Cruise Certificate is valid for a Holland America Line cruise for two (2) people sharing one stateroom. Choice of sailing dates will be accommodated on a space available basis and will be confirmed at time of request. The Cruise Certificate may be used for the sailing and number of nights indicated. The stateroom category will be a minimum ocean view stateroom selected by Holland America Line. If space is available, stateroom upgrades may be purchased at an additional cost. Third and fourth persons are permitted in the same stateroom and will be charged the per person tariff per applicable brochure. Guests under 21 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or chaperone who is at least 21 years old. All cruise certificates are strictly for cruise only. Costs of transportation to and from the port of embarkation, hotels, taxes, fuel supplement and surcharges as applicable, transfers, shore excursions, personal expenses on board (e.g., laundry, certain beverages, phone calls, etc.) and hotel service charges are NOT included. Other terms and conditions may apply, which will be provided to the Winner at the time of the award.
