Honor A Friend

Celebrating a friend or family member by making a gift to San Diego Opera’s Acknowledgement Fund is a wonderful way to pay tribute to a loved one. Whether it is for a special birthday or anniversary or as a lasting memorial to someone dear, these gifts honor opera lovers by bringing opera and opera education to the community for generations to come.

Acknowledgement Fund gifts are placed into the Opera’s Endowment so that they will continue to support top-quality opera in perpetuity. However, a family may request Acknowledgement Fund gifts to be put toward a particular program. If you would like to make an Acknowledgement Fund contribution in honor of a special occasion or a special person, please call Heide Pedersen at (619) 232-7636. A note with a personalized message will be sent to the honoree or their family advising them that a gift has been made.
